Abstract

The holistic approach to education is still relevant today. 21st-century Commission As American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) President and CEO Walter Bumphus said, our colleges must take a good, hard look at where we are and what is in our future. AACC's 21stcentury Commission on the Future of Community Colleges will build on the lessons learned from the 1947 Truman Commission and the 1988 Futures Commission to create a road map for challenges ahead.
